As climate change and environmental pollution continue to intensify, the production and disposal of conventional industrial materials place increasing pressure on ecosystems. The design field urgently needs to explore more sustainable material alternatives that reduce resource consumption and environmental impact. Biomaterials, as renewable and biodegradable options, offer new possibilities for future product design.
